LOCATION: The Capon Valley Ruritan Club is on River Road, in Yellow Spring, WV,
From Winchester, VA – Go west on US 50 for 11 miles; turn left on Route 259 for 11.5 miles;
turn right on River Road for ½ mile to the Ruritan Club.
REGISTRATION: 7:30-8:15 A.M. Parking at Ruritan Grounds.

All proceeds help support the Capon Valley Ruritan Club services to the community.
COURSE: Out & Back from the Capon Valley Ruritan Club on paved River Road
over continuous moderately rolling hills along the beautiful Capon
River.
TIMES: 5K begins promptly at 8:30 A.M. Awards will be given at 9:45 A.M.
ENTRY CATEGORIES: Male & Female; 15 &under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over.
AWARDS: All 5K registered runners will receive tee shirts. Top male & female, top male & female
masters, top male & female runners in each category receive personalized awards.
ENTRY FEES: $16.00 postmarked by 9/26/08 ($14.00 for SVR members) After 9/26 & Race Day Registration- $20.00. ($18.00
for SVR members).
RACE DAY: Registration & packet pick-up – 7:30- 8:15 A.M. Parking at Ruritan grounds.
Post race drinks & snacks for 5K runners. (Results posted on website by 10/ 24)
RESTRICTIONS: Runners may not run with any pet, stroller or other wheeled conveyance, I Pod or any other
Headphone. Any hazardous or distracting material or practice is prohibited.

CLASS: Ages 8-12.

COURSE: 2+ Laps on the paved walking track on the grounds. Participants walk the course and pick up fun activities
at various stations.
